Terms of Use
In effect since October 29, 2026. These terms govern the use of our website.
This is an English translation for convenience. If there is any difference, the French version prevails.
Acceptance of the terms
The reparationelectrosherbrooke.ca website is operated by Réparation Électro Sherbrooke, a home appliance repair business in Sherbrooke and the Eastern Townships. By using the site, you accept these terms. If you don’t accept them, please don’t use the site.
Use of the site
You may use the site to learn about our services, contact us and request a quote. You agree to:
- provide accurate information in the forms;
- not send abusive, fraudulent or promotional messages;
- not try to interfere with the site’s operation or security;
- not extract the site’s content by automated means.
Information on the site
We do our best to keep the published information accurate and up to date, but it may contain errors or no longer reflect our services. It’s provided for information only and doesn’t replace an on-site diagnosis by a technician.
For your safety, unplug an appliance before any check, and leave work on electrical parts or internal components to a technician.
Quote requests and appointments
A form sent through the site is a request, not a contract. An appointment is confirmed only when we confirm it to you by phone or in writing.
The technician explains the problem and the cost of the repair before starting the work, and you decide whether to go ahead. The service conditions, including the warranty on parts and labour, are given to you at the time of service.
We’re open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and we aim for same-day service for urgent breakdowns. However, timing depends on technician and part availability, and isn’t guaranteed.
Nothing in these terms limits the rights and warranties granted to you by Quebec’s Consumer Protection Act and the Civil Code of Québec.
Intellectual property
The text, logo, design and other elements of the site belong to Réparation Électro Sherbrooke or are used with permission. Some photos come from royalty-free image libraries and are used under their licences. You may not reproduce, modify or distribute the site’s content without our written permission, except for personal, non-commercial use.
Appliance brands mentioned on the site belong to their owners. They’re mentioned only to indicate the appliances we repair and don’t imply any affiliation, unless stated otherwise.
Links to other sites
The site may contain links to third-party sites, for example Google Maps. We have no control over these sites and aren’t responsible for their content or privacy practices.
Limitation of liability
The site is provided as is. We don’t guarantee it will always be available, uninterrupted or error-free. To the extent permitted by law, Réparation Électro Sherbrooke isn’t liable for damages arising from the use of the site or the inability to use it.
This limitation doesn’t apply to intentional or gross fault, or to the rights the law grants you as a consumer.
Personal information
The information you send us is handled according to our privacy policy.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Quebec and the applicable federal laws of Canada. Subject to the rights the law grants you, including as a consumer, any dispute falls under the courts of the judicial district of Saint-François, in Sherbrooke.
Changes
We may change these terms at any time. The version in effect is the one published on this page on the date of your visit.
